ট্রেইনি রিক্রুট কনস্টেবল পদে ১০ হাজার জনকে নিয়োগের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করেছে বাংলাদেশ পুলিশ। এর মধ্যে আট হাজার ৫০০ পুরুষ ও এক হাজার ৫০০ নারীকে নিয়োগ দেওয়া হবে।
শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা: এসএসসি বা সমমান পাস প্রার্থীরা আবেদন করতে পারবেন। প্রার্থীদের ন্যূনতম জিপিএ থাকতে হবে ২ দশমিক ৫ অথবা সমমান।

শারীরিক যোগ্যতা: পুরুষ প্রার্থীদের জন্য উচ্চতা পাঁচ ফুট ছয় ইঞ্চি এবং বুকের মাপ স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ৩১ ইঞ্চি ও স্ফীত অবস্থায় ৩৩ ইঞ্চি হতে হবে। তবে মুক্তিযোদ্ধা কোটায় পুরুষ প্রার্থীদের জন্য উচ্চতা পাঁচ ফুট চার ইঞ্চি এবং বুকের মাপ স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ৩০ ইঞ্চি ও স্ফীত অবস্থায় ৩১ ইঞ্চি হতে হবে। এ ছাড়া উপজাতীয় কোটায় পুরুষ প্রার্থীদের জন্য উচ্চতা পাঁচ ফুট চার ইঞ্চি এবং বুকের মাপ স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ৩১ ইঞ্চি ও স্ফীত অবস্থায় ৩৩ ইঞ্চি হতে হবে। নারী প্রার্থীদের জন্য সব কোটায় উচ্চতা পাঁচ ফুট দুই ইঞ্চি হতে হবে। প্রার্থীদের ওজন উচ্চতা ও বয়স অনুযায়ী নির্ধারণ করা হবে।

বয়স: আবেদনের জন্য প্রার্থীদের বয়স ৩১ অক্টোবর-২০১৬ তারিখে ১৮ থেকে ২০ বছর হতে হবে। তবে মুক্তিযোদ্ধা সন্তানদের ক্ষেত্রে বয়সসীমা ৩২ বছর। শুধু অবিবাহিত নারী ও পুরুষরা আবেদন করতে পারবেন।

বেতন ও ভাতা: জাতীয় বেতনক্রম ২০১৫ অনুযায়ী নিয়োগপ্রাপ্তদের বেতন দেওয়া হবে সর্বসাকল্যে নয় হাজার থেকে ২১ হাজার ৮০০ টাকা। এ ছাড়া ভাতা ও অন্যান্য সুবিধা দেওয়া হবে।

আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া: বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে উল্লেখিত তারিখে আগ্রহী প্রার্থীদের সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলার পুলিশ লাইন্স ময়দানে উপস্থিত থাকার আহ্বান জানিয়েছে বাংলাদেশ পুলিশ। আবেদনের সময় বিজ্ঞাপনে উল্লেখিত কাগজপত্র সঙ্গে আনতে হবে।

Key Responsibilities:

A new position in the BRAC Nepal team, the Programme Development Specialist will support the Kathmandu based team to grow its programme in Nepal through leading on fundraising and programme development efforts from Nepal based and international donors. Position Name: Engineer- HVAC, Fire & Pumps

Grade: To be commensurate based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and performs all aspects of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of HVAC equipment including:
- Overall checking the air conditioning system including supply and return duct/piping/air grill.
- Overall checking of building automation system, control room conditions etc.
- Central plants and central/built up air handling systems.
- Overall operation and maintenance of air chiller.
- Overall operation of supply and return pumps.

Oversees and carry out engineering, servicing and maintenance tasks related to Fire detection and protection systems including:
- Checks regular fire pumps, fire hydrant conditions, and fire sprinkler systems.
- Overall supervision and operation of fire control panel mode detection systems.
- Monitor smoke and heat detection equipment, alarm systems, and fire extinguishing devices and systems.
- Overall supervision of manual pull station, alarm bell, fire exit indication, voice communication system.

Oversees and carry out engineering, servicing and maintenance tasks related with different pumps
- Check the condition of water treatment plant and deep tube well equipments etc.
- Overall supervision and maintenance of pressurized water supply pump.
- Carry out repairs to the equipments on time.
Perform monthly safety inspections of the building and maintain periodical test report of the above systems as part of compliance.
Overhauling and replacing parts of different equipments timely to reduce down time.

Requirements:

B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics. Diploma holder with adequate relevant experience and expertise may also apply.
Strong knowledge on HVAC systems, pressurized water supply and distribution, fire pump, water treatment plant, deep tube well etc of the multistoried/factory building.
Ability to work with multi-discipline project teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection.
Attention to detail and ability to apply analytical thinking in problem solving.
Institutional membership/associate member ship will get preference.
Computer literacy is must.

Experience:

Minimum 5-8 years in relevant field
Experience in relevant field of multistoried building/factory building will get preference.
