Programme Development, Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
A new position in the BRAC Nepal team, the Programme Development Specialist will support the Kathmandu based team to grow its programme in Nepal through leading on fundraising and programme development efforts from Nepal based and international donors. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Programme Strategy Development
- Partnership Development
- Programme Design and Fund raising
- Relationship Management
- Information Management, Knowledge Management and Learning
- Reporting
Person Specifications:

- Flexible and adaptable with good interpersonal skills and a ‘can-do’ approach
- Ability to lead and inspire a small team
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to develop strong and trusting relationships across the world and across cultures

- Dependable and reliable with the ability to be productive under time pressure
- Very well organised, capable of building productive internal and external relationships for the organisation
- Positive, resilient and supportive
- Ability to confidently articulate BRAC’s approach and impact in public fora
- Ability to travel widely in Nepal and within Asia
- Language skills – with priority languages Nepali, French, German, Spanish and Bengali
Educational Requirements:
Masters/ PhD in Development studies or any other relevant subject from any recognized university with minimum second class/division or equivalent CGPA in all academic records.Experience Requirements:
- 7+ years experience with proven program management experience, in a developing country setting
- Professional knowledge of diverse development approaches
