Job Description / Responsibility

• Manage budgeted portfolio with prevailing commercial banking business to retain sustainable banking relationships in a profitable manner and in line with assigned business growth target
• Responsible for business development as well as generating new customer relationships through a combination of credit management, sales and relationship management by primarily focusing on commercial and industrial lending
• Develop Business from new and existing clients, through strategic penetration into identified market/sectors across the entire portfolio spectrum like assets, liabilities, and cross-sell
• Underwrite deals related to accepted proposals and managing the resulting portfolio
• Monitor risk and ensure that the Bank's relationship strategy is in line with the portfolio and industry quality
• Negotiate appropriate credit lines in conformity with the Bank's underwriting standards and risk adjusted targets after thorough assessment of information essential for the preparation of a detailed credit proposal
• Ensure that the quality of the credit portfolio is maintained by reviewing proposals, identifying and assessing all risk inherent in credit exposures

Postgraduate, ideally with concentration in Business, Finance/Accounting or related field

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Corporate Banking or Commercial Banking
• Strong credit assessment skills, ability to analyze financial statements and make recommendations on credit structure.
• The ability to forge close relationships with external constituents as a representative of the bank.
• Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions.
• Experience of working in centralized environment and real time on-line banking
• Exhibits leadership qualities with ability to manage, coach, and mentor less experienced RMs
• Excellent management, communication, interpersonal, team building and people management skills
• Good computer literacy
